Most districts will allow you to submit an application for a job vacancy and a pool.
Job vacancies are found on the Vacancy Desired page of your application and have an associated Job ID number.
Job pools are found on the Position Desired page and do not have a Job ID number associated to each selection.
Take note that when applying for a Position Pool, you are not applying for a job that is currently open in that district. A job pool selection allows you to submit an application, but this action only conveys your interest for future openings to the hiring district. You will not be considered for an actual job for any selections made on the Position Desired page.
Your application will be submitted for Job IDs that are selected on the Vacancy Desired page.
