The district can choose between four different applications types for you to complete within applicant tracking. Reference each in the section below.
An external application is the most common type within applicant tracking. This label applies by default to an external applicant who applies to the district and creates an application. You will have the ability to apply for all jobs and pools that are currently open for external candidates (as determined by the school district).
This term includes those who apply at a district where they already work and who are presented with the option to fill out an internal application rather than an external one. You will access the internal application by indicating that you are a current district employee (when asked within the application), and those provided with an internal application may be prompted to complete a different set of pages.
Job Fair applications are basic applications started and used at job fairs that may potentially be completed elsewhere (based on the district's preference). The information requested for a Job Fair application includes your name, email address, phone number, and what specific categories of positions catch your interest. The completion of a Job Fair application is not an application for a specific job but rather the acquisition of your information for the district and the initial creation of an application.
A simple internal application is made available to some districts to acquire a very brief data summary (similar to a Job Fair application). This application only requires a name, email address, phone number, and selection for a current Job ID to complete, but applicants can also submit their current location, position, and any additional comments.
